Stepping away sounded romantic. In truth, it was anything but.

In return, we got silence, and uncertainty.
Some nights were difficult, not because we doubted the path, but because clarity often asks for patience.
Alignment rarely begins with celebration.
It begins with loss — of identity, of comfort, of belonging.

But slowly, something shifted.
Decisions stopped coming from self-doubt.
Work stopped feeling like survival. And we began to notice something profound,
Joy had never really left. It had only been lighting up the other side of our world, waiting for us to turn toward it again.
