The Inner Compass – 5 – The Price of Alignment

Over time, life found its rhythm again – only, this time, it moved differently.
The work was still there: meetings, clients, decisions.
But something inside had shifted.

Earlier, I worked to achieve. Now, I work to serve. The same hours feel lighter.
The same challenges, meaningful.
Purpose didn’t take me away from the world. It brought me closer, to people, to problems, to possibilities.

What once felt like effort now feels like participation, in something larger, more alive, and beautifully human.

The skills that once earned us approval, now help others find their own clarity and joy.
Purpose didn’t change our work. It changed why we work.
And that difference, is the quiet line between burnout and bliss.
