CONSCIOUS ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM - FAMILY MANAGED BUSINESS (CEP- FMB)
Some of the largest business groups in India are managed and operated by family members. Such teams are expected to share greater understanding and rapport.
Yet, instead of scale, expansion, or growth, most family-managed companies fail due to friction among the founding members. This is because their relationships go beyond work and business decisions are influenced by domestic equations.
CONSCIOUS ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM – FAMILY MANAGED BUSINESS (CEP – FMB) aims to build a holistic relationship between the founders who can operate and scale the business joyously by:
- Unanimously defining the vision for the company;
- Strategically resolving creative differences and arriving at a common ground.
CEP – FMB is a bonding experience for the participants. It develops their relationship at a professional and personal level. It is an opportunity for you and your family business partners to really understand each other and ultimately get the desired results.

1. Is CEP useful if I have already done MBA/ Family Business Programs?
CEP – FMB is designed to enable founders to work with each other. It builds a strong Founder and People pillar for your organization so that co-founders can focus on the “real purpose” of the organization. Prior knowledge from MBA/ FBM can augment your ability to apply the learnings from CEP, and assist you in achieving success in a joyful manner.
2. Do I need to choose between CEP or any other MBA/ FMB program?
Most MBA/ FMB programs are designed to only focus on secondary functions like Marketing & Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations. On the other hand, CEP is intended to focus on the entrepreneurship side and the business’s consciousness side. It provides you with all the necessary tools to understand your own self and then create a long-lasting organization.
If you want to build a strong relationship among the founders and define a vision for your business, CEP – FMB is the way to go.
But if you are at a stage where you need hardcore knowledge of running a business, then you can opt for an MBA/ FMB program and enroll for CEP afterward or simultaneously.
3. Does everyone in the family involved in the business need to do the program, or is it okay if only one or two members do it?
It is recommended that each family member involved in the business be part of the program.
Even if few family business members are participating in the program, a separate secession can be scheduled to discuss the alignment.
